Providing access to low-fee training for school leavers, young people and job seekers.

What is JobTrainer?

JobTrainer provides funding to enable, young people, school leavers and job seekers have access to low-fee short courses and qualifications that can unlock exciting opportunities for work or further training.

We need skilled people now in growth areas of our economy, for example social care, defence, IT and digital, space and creative industries. With low fee training on offer it has never been a better time to get the skills you need towards launching a career in one of these industries.

Are you eligible?

To be eligible for access to low-fee training through JobTrainer, you’ll need to be;

  • Not currently employed and not enrolled in school, or
  • Aged between 16 and 24 years and not enrolled in school, or
  • Hold a Health Care, Pensioner or Veteran Affairs concession card, or
  • Looking to enrol in a course relevant to a skilled career in social care or digital skills. Please speak to your training provider about eligible courses.

You will also need to meet the eligibility criteria for subsidised training.
